Canggu Beach Painting Fundraiser
In the summer of 2024, Ytsera Bali team embarked on a unique art project designed to bring people together and foster community spirit. With creation at the heart of the brand’s mission, the team set out to curate live community art in a public space.
For twelve weeks, Ytsera Founder Ben and Head of Marketing Tomas and the rest of the team brought a blank canvas, paints, and brushes to the beach each week during sunset. Initially, the passing community was skeptical, often expressing doubts such as, “I’m not an artist” or “I don’t know how to paint.”
As the weeks went by, attitudes shifted and the narrative evolved. By the end of the project, twelve original, one-of-a-kind pieces were created, each a testament to the collective creativity of diverse individuals who initially saw themselves as outsiders to the art world. The project revealed an incredible transformation—turning hesitant energy and limiting beliefs into valuable, collaborative art.
The impact of this art has led Ytsera to partner with the Ragam Foundation, a local Bali organization dedicated to feeding those in need throughout Indonesia.
